Geography of England

The program covers three main topics Cities, Water Bodies, and Features on the map of England, Scotland, Ireland & Wales. There are six game screens.  There are a total of 32 cities, 32 water bodies, and 32 geographical features covered.  For each main topic there is a game screen which involves finding the item on the map and a second game screen where you match the name to a map location. Each game screen has a cheat button (Hint) which will reveal the correct answer.  Each screen also has a display of the score, number done, number of wrong guesses, and the number of cheats (Hints) used.

There is a final Report Screen which shows your data for each level completed.  This Report Screen can be printed out.
There are three maps which can be printed and used for study purposes and for guides while using the program.     There are 18 hi-res (24-bit) photos of interesting place in England which can be viewed by clicking a location on the map or by viewing them all sequentially.     There are 18 hi-res (24-bit) photos of interesting place in England which can be viewed by clicking a location on the map or by viewing them all sequentially. This is a TOTAL FREEWARE Windows program. This means there are no fees, no ads, no registration, no collection of any data, no internet connection, and no limit to installations or distribution. This program is not to be sold or distributed for profit. The program will run on Windows versions XP through 10.  Download the zipped setup program, extract it and run it.
NOTE: This program will run fairly well on Linux (Linuxmint & Peppermint OS) when used with Wine or PlayOnLinux. Game play is okay, although the graphics of the photos may be compromised depending on the  limits of your Linux system.
