South American Geography

This Freeware Windows program will let you study the countries, maps, flags, cities, and geography of South America. There are six screens which allow the user to study and review 6 topics. The topics are: Countries, Major Cities, Capitals of the Countries, Geographical Features, Place Flags on a Map, and Match Flags with Country Names. Each level includes a score and timer display. The player also has the option to play a level in a "Study Mode" which allows them to reveal the answers without the stress of a timer or score keeper. During play, the user may select the "Answer" (a.k.a. Hints) button which will reveal the correct answer. However, the more this feature is used, the greater the penalty to the score.

     There is a "Report Table" at the end of the program which shows the number of times the answer button was used (Hints), the final score, the number completed, and the timer value. If used in a computer lab, the table results can be used to award recognition for the best performance. The Report Screen can also be printed.
     This program is totally free and may be installed on an unlimited number of computers. There is no registration needed. Also, this program does not contain any ads and does collect any information. There is no internet access.
